Terms and Conditions for Desea Bookkeeping (DBA under Desea Digital, LLC)

1. Terminology

  • "Customer," "User," "You," or "Your": Refers to any individual or business accessing or using our services.
  • "Company," "Our," "We," or "Us": Refers to Desea Digital, LLC, doing business as Desea Bookkeeping.
  • "Services": Refers to bookkeeping services, QuickBooks Online setup, and bookkeeping cleanup provided by the Company.

2. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and, if acting on behalf of a business, that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Services Offered

We provide bookkeeping services, including QuickBooks Online (QBO) setup, bookkeeping cleanups, and ongoing monthly bookkeeping support. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own QBO (or other software) licenses and must provide us with the necessary access to perform our Services.

4. Pricing & Payments

All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are payable via Stripe. Invoices may be sent through Anchor, but payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store payment information.

  • One-time setup or cleanup fees: Non-refundable once work begins.
  • Monthly bookkeeping: If you cancel within the first 30 days, you only pay for the portion of service already completed.
  • Ongoing monthly services are billed in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Privacy & Data

To protect your information, we handle documents as follows:

  • Bookkeeping documents (receipts, invoices, bills): Uploaded directly to QuickBooks Online.
  • Sensitive documents (bank statements, tax documents, etc.): Shared securely through Anchor’s client portal.
  • We will not request or accept financial documents via email.
  • All documents are deleted once services end. Clients are responsible for retaining their own records.
  • No subcontractors will access your data without your prior consent.

6. Support & Communication

Support is available through the following channels:

  • Email (primary): sean@deseabookkeeping.com
  • WhatsApp: For quick communication, voice notes, and screen recordings (not for sensitive documents).
  • Zoom: Scheduled calls upon request.
  • We aim to respond within 1 business day, though response times may vary during busy periods.

7. Legal & Liability

  • We are not responsible for IRS penalties, late filings, or financial consequences resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely information provided by the client.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Desea Digital, LLC (dba Desea Bookkeeping) from claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of our Services or from inaccurate/incomplete information you provide.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, WA.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Desea Digital, LLC regarding Desea Bookkeeping and supersede all prior agreements.
