We collect personal information such as your name, email address, and financial documents that you provide via QuickBooks Online or Anchor. We do not collect or store payment card details; these are handled by Stripe.
Your information is used to provide bookkeeping services, communicate with you, and manage your account. We may also send updates or service-related emails. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store payment details. By using our Services, you agree to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.
We use QuickBooks Online and Anchor for document management. Both platforms employ industry-standard security. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no online service is completely secure.
Desea Bookkeeping maintains a Written Information Security Program (“WISP”) designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client information. This program includes administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that meet or exceed the standards of IRS Publication 4557 and the FTC Safeguards Rule. Our WISP is reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in technology, business practices, and applicable laws. We retain documents only while services are active. Once services end, we delete all documents in our possession. You are responsible for maintaining your own financial records.
